The Geekly Forecast: June 15th-June 21st, 2015

The Geekly Forecast is a weekly preview of all the neat stuff coming to screens, stores, and living rooms near you!

Recommendations:
TV: Got the GoT blues? No worries – HBO has picked up Ballers to fill your time (as well as Brink). Also, Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels premieres. See? You’ll be fiiiiine.
Music: Root, root, root for the home team. Amos Lee‘s live album with the Colorado Symphony is a solid pick this week; it’s so good that you’re parents might enjoy it, too.
Netflix: Jennifer Aniston’s performance in Cake was snubbed for an Oscar nomination, but that doesn’t mean you have miss out.
Movies:  Take your kids to see Inside Out, then sneak out when the spouse isn’t looking and go watch Dope. Nerdy blerd with a flat-top wins out every time.
DVD: Any movie with Olivia Wilde is worth a watch; the thrilling The Lazarus Effect is guaranteed to be worth your time.
