‘Big Trouble in Little China’ Remake Happening Thanks to The Rock

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, star of all things, is bringing back Big Trouble in Little China.

The 80’s cult-classic originally starred Kurt Russell (remember when Kurt Russell was an action-hero?!) as Jack Burton, a big-rig truck driver who has to battle a legendary sorcerer in San Francisco’s Chinatown.

Johnson is set to star as Jack Burton. Johnson’s production team, Seven Bucks Productions, took their pitch to FOX.

Writers of X-Men: First Class (as well as Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz have a deal to pen the script.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Joss Whedon, and Breaking Bad are the best things to ever happen to me. I'm only a Three on MeowMeowBeenz. I really want to be a Four.
