A Documentary in the Works About George Miller’s ‘Justice League: Mortal’

Remember eight years ago when a Justice League movie by George Miller (of Mad Max fame) was announced? And remember when that didn’t happen?

Now Directer Ryan Unicomb and Producers Aaron Cater and Steven Caldwell want to make a documentary about why Justice League: Mortal never happened and how it effected the crew.

The movie was set to film in Australia in 2007-2008 and to be released in 2009, but the writers strike came up in 2007, beginning the derailment of the project. Because of the project being canceled, hundreds of people lost jobs. The documentary plans to cover those effects, show us costumes, and tell us what the script looked like.

The cast list included Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Adam Brody as The Flash (Wally West), Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Common as Green Lantern (John Stewart), Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, and Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Joss Whedon, and Breaking Bad are the best things to ever happen to me. I'm only a Three on MeowMeowBeenz. I really want to be a Four.
